The season is over :(

So like I while ago I nicked like 600 songs from The Disco King and whacked them on me Ipod. I keep being introduced to a random mix of brilliant new songs. From Beck to Bicycle Thief, I've been impressed. My new favourite song of the day I've discovered is Beth Orton's 'Stolen Car' (Is that ironic, do you think?). A sweet guitar janglin' folky song with excellent Ben Harper doin' that Ben Harper thing he does. Wish I'd seen Beth at the BDO - alas she wasn't on the mainstage. I recall she was up agasint Rammstein or Placebo???

Hold the phone!! Kitchen Remodel Experts have just emailed me. How did they know I needed a remodeled kitchen? I was thinking DIY but if the experts are interested...

The 4 day weekend that was:

Thurs: After work drinks, and later played pool at the Windmill with the Middle Ginga

Fri: Home to home cooked chicken roast and a demolition job on mum's wine. And then whiskey.

Sat: Hawkes Bay Cup. Ended up with a 15 dollar profit due to canny picks on the last two races. A miracle Warriors like recovery if there ever was one. This is proof Lazurus could have risen from the dead. Hmmm Gambling..

Sun: Home cooked roast lamb with Gma and Te Aunty and Rest of Te Whanau. Hmmm Roast Potatoes...

BBQ with Le Pere. Hmmm squid and lime.

Mon: Lunch avec et al at the Mission Estate, Taradale. Hmmm Merlot...

Now get back to work.
