After the verbal tirade from Noel over Jay-Z's headlining of Glastonbury and Jay-Z's awesome response, I thought I would simply write down my favourite songs of each artist.

Noel, Jay Z or myself?
No Doubt Noel is a rock star, but Jay Z is maybe the most successful Rapper/Producer ever, with collaborations with all major rappers, and many rockers including Linkin Park. Jay-Z isn't famous because of Beyonce, he made her famous, he made her a star along with countless others. He's worth over 500 million dollars. You missed the point, I'm sure British rock is hip and all but Noel is no Jay Z never will be never has been, not even comparable buddy. He covered that song, and if he wanted he could buy that song and all the rights too it. Get your facts right, then blog about something you know
But you can't deny Jay-z's greatness..and got it twisted Beyonce is only famous for being married to hov.
What makes you think Noel wants to be JZ. He aint all that. How much you have in your pocket does not mean you are a great person, and can he really buy soemthing if it is not for sale? I could give a flying rats ass about Oasis. I just think JZ is overated and full of himself. Talk about wankers.
No one said Noel wants to be Jay - Z. Noel was just upset that JZ was headlining Glastonbury in the place of some ROCK band like his - he clearly did not realise how popular JZ is.
I did not miss the 'point' at all - I was expressing my clear preference for Oasis' music than Jay Z.
Jayz performance of Wonderwall was a brilliant retort to Noel's grumpiness.
