This guitar tuner was created using AI as an exercise to demonstrate the application of AI in coding a helpful tool. As a proof of concept, it works reasonably well!

If necessary, you will need to give The Optimus Prime Experiment site permission to use the microphone of your device. This is likely to be on a laptop PC rather than ian Phone or an Android.
This needs to be used in a quiet place as it picks up surrounding sounds from devices such as televisions, especially when the acoustic tuner is set to 'Auto' mode, which is a chromatic tuning mode when you simply can tune the string and the tuner will pick up the notes.
We went through at least 17 variations to get to this point and will continue to work on improving the form and function.
I suspect this tuner will not work too well for strings that are WILDLY out of tune. It certainly works best on the higher notes - we went through several iterations to improve the tuning ability ot the E/A/D strings.
As an exercise in seeing how I could use Chat GPT to build a usefult utility (and with the limitations of using HTML on the Blogger framework) I am pretty happy with how the guitar tuner turned out.
