Youtube videos of Transformers Theme Songs!
You've got the power, you've got the touch! seriously, try and read that without screaming "YEAH!" at the end. It’s physically impossible.
If you've found The Optimus Prime Experiment, you know you love these three awesome Transformers songs. They are the holy trinity of Saturday Morning cartoon rock. Let's crank the volume to 11.
Transformers: Theme by Lion
This is where heavy metal meets ahh... metal Robby robots. It is pure adrenaline. It also features arguably the first "more than meets the eye" line in a legitimate rock song ever (Velvet Revolver and Faith No More notably used the line later, but Lion did it with more hairspray).
Just to set the record straight: This was recorded by Lion and not White Lion as some people seem to think! No "When the Children Cry" here, just giant robots punching Decepticons. The video is even prefaced by an advertisement for the best toys of the 80s... because nothing says artistic integrity like selling a plastic Galvatron.
The Touch by Stan Bush
The anthem. The legend. The song that makes you believe you can open the Matrix of Leadership even if you're just opening a jar of pickles.
The anthem. The legend. The song that makes you believe you can open the Matrix of Leadership even if you're just opening a jar of pickles.
If the music video isn't enough, you can watch it in the next video as it played out in the glorious Transformers Movie: Optimus Prime rolling into battle, taking names, and breaking chassis. Iconic.
Dare: by Stan Bush
The lesser known of the Stan Bush contributions to the animated Transformers: The Movie but still is an awesome song. It’s the "Hot Rod montage" track that tells you you can win if you dare. Synth-pop perfection.
